My Desktop computer was working fine, other than I could not get the Screen Saver to work, so I called Coxtechsolutions.com and spoke to a lady in an Eastern State, she said no problem she would take care of that, she took control of my computer, which I pay $14.99 a month for their services, She some how BLACKED out my computer, and was told that I needed to take my computer to the repair shop, or purchase a new computer, COX would send no computer tech to my home to see what the problem was, unless I payed them $200.00 for a Service Call, which I said I would not do, since their tech caused my computer to go dark, they offered no assistance what so ever, and this happened on Dec 31.2011, So I am 70 years old, disabled and had no
clue what to do. On Jan 2,2012 I was so pissed, I played around with the computer and got it working again myself, I am Old School, and don't know anything about the repair of a computer,
COX Communications brags up their great service, I for one disagree with that, they give crappy customer service, I have the complete bundle with COX, and hope soon to quit them and go with another provider, They are all the same, promise great service, then when you need it, they between the lines, tell you to stick it up your
butt...
